about

I’m David, a businessman and amateur writer. I was born in 1979 and am currently living in the Philippines. I was educated in England, UK, with a Master’s degree in Engineering. I went on to become a career sales executive, working in industries such as online publishing and social media, property, finance and taxation. My personal success as an employee has allowed me to move abroad and become financially free. Like many who don’t have to work for a living, I realised it is time to find a passion to pursue, now that my own pursuit of capital has ended successfully. That passion is writing, and I want to share with you what I have learnt about money and how to build it efficiently.

As long as I can remember, I’ve always been fascinated by money. Not only about the thought of owning lots of it, but also from the history of money, how it is created, the economy, saving and investing, banking, wealth inequality and more. The old saying is that money makes the world go round. Sadly I think that is no longer true – companies make the world go round, and big ones at that. Money is just the tool they use to buy influence. But with some good decision-making and a lot of hard work, I believe it is possible for any one of us to live a long, happy and wealthy existence, without being chained to these giant corporate machines, being powerless to job security and totally at their mercy.

This aim of this website is to help people, who, like I once was, are bad with money. People in debt, or looking for inspiration on how to build capital for themselves. It is especially aimed at the millennial generations, who are finding it increasingly difficult to prosper, on account of the greed and self-interest of baby boomers, which also has to do with feeble governmental legislation, not adequately dealing with the growing wealth inter-generational inequality.

You will also find here an eBook, which tells the story of how I turned my life around from a terrible financial mess, into having financially freedom. It describes the mistakes I made as well as the lessons that I learned.
